We send a big thank you to the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA), and to their president Kathi Johnson. The members of the EWGA showed their support of our cause by being the single most represented entity of any group playing in the Women’s Tapemark. 19 EWGA members played in this year’s Tapemark, meaning that 13% of our players were EWGA members! We thank the EWGA and look forward to working more closely with you in the future. A beautiful late summer day was enjoyed by 140 women amateurs at Southview Country Club on Monday, Sept. 19th. After golf, the competitors were treated to special guest, U of M Head Coach Pam Borton, who spoke during the evening program. Borton gave a insider’s preview to the upcoming season, and praised our golfers for their commitment to supporting charity and improving women’s sports opportunities.
